Attention young people. We have a class especially for you. It may surprise you to learn that one of the biggest benefits of doing a Barre class after school has to do with the brain.

Barre is a workout class that combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training, and uses a ballet barre. It’s fun, as well as a great workout, but a Barre class is also going to get different parts of the brain working, so you can put aside that school brain for a while. Step up to the barre and you will be taking a break from having to deal with the stresses of the school day.

Then there are the other benefits. You will activate your core, improve your posture, and increase confidence. It improves cardio fitness and endurance, is good for balance and coordination and builds muscle tone and strength.

The Barre class is suitable for everyone, whether you have danced before or not. It’s also a great social fun thing to do with friends, so grab a friend or two and join us.
