Pilates Flow

In a small group setting in four week blocks, we teach flowing sequences that are built from Pilates fundamental exercises. A steady workout with an emphasis on mind body awareness. With individual attention, this class is great for people to develop technique with confidence as moves are layered and there is no pressure to take progressions until ready. Classes start with centering, breath awareness and postural alignment to establish a safe foundation for all exercises..

Stretch, Relax and Release

In a small group of 4, Stretch, Relax and Release is a slow, steady paced class that allows participants the time and focus to gain full benefit from targeted stretching.
In consultation with the group, each class can be individualised according to need. Mindfulness & relaxation techniques are incorporated to assist in a holistic restorative experience.

Balance and Stability Training

The more time we spend sitting down, the quicker we lose strength in the postural muscles that support us to stay upright. Hips become tighter, feet and ankles become weaker. Have fun in a class that helps you stay upright and strong and defy the effects of gravity on our maturing bodies. In a small group setting, there is lots of time and focus given for individual needs and preferences.

‘Pilates Flow’ is the signature class of Marisa (founder of JBFit) and draws together all of the elements of her mind body training and philosophy. It underpins the majority of mat Pilates classes at Just Believe Fit. Grounded in Pilates principles (Breath, Centering, Concentration, Control, Fluidity, Isolation, Precision) each class is built through layers of connected movement. Participants are given options to stay or progress at each level according to their needs or abilities on any given day. Pilates Flow will help you separate you from the outside world and focus on nourishing your mind and body.

Suitable for all ages, and particularly our MATURE AND MOVING participants, this class is focussed on creating core awareness and building the strength you need to be free moving for every day life.
In addition to learning how to use your ‘powerhouse’, the session includes stretching, flexibility and joint mobility exercises which are integral to your body working efficiently as a whole. The class can be modified to use chairs, barres and other props to suit different abilities.

Fun Fitness in the Park delivers the best of Pilates, Yoga and Functional Fitness to help you condition your body for the demands of everyday living.
Strength, cardio and balances work help develop core control and stability and contribute to a well rounded fitness experience. Throw in some delicious stretches and your workout is complete

Simply Stretch and Release

Take the time that you need to focus purely on flexibility and get assistance in learning different techniques that suit your body. Simply Stretch utilises props such as foam rollers, therabands and the support of the ballet barre to access all parts of the body … even those you didn’t realise you had.

No Barre Barre gives you the workout benefits of barre but without needing the support of a mounted structure. We use long foam rollers and gymsticks to challenge our balance and control in supercharged 45-minute class.
Throw in a range of props to give you a cardio and total muscle conditioning class that is fun and motivating.

Modifications and options are provided making it accessible for all levels

Lively instruction and a steady pace will keep you moving so you can challenge yourself and improve your overall fitness
